My perfect Winter Day would include waking up to a white gentle snowfall with frost on my window next to my bedside. I'd be in classic plaid christmas pj's and go downstairs to make a cup of hot chocolate with marshmellows and whip cream. My day would then be planned with winter festivities! I would start by going holiday shopping with friends and family! We then would exchange secret santa's for fun! After that we'd go to IHOP for a yummy breakfast; and follow up for a brisk icy ice skating trip! Afterwards that; we would visit a local tree and take photos! Once the day has been taken up; I'd go home and once again enter some christmas pj's. I'd bake some sugar cookies for Santa; and then decorate my house for Christmas! (Or any other winter holiday) That is my perfect and dream Winter Day.

My perfect winter day would be waking up with my brothers and watching a bunch of Christmas movies and maybe having hot chocolate. And I wish that it would snow so that we could all play in the snow together

What a great article on fashion, appropriation and co-opting Black invention, culture and convention. I applaud you, Madison, for the calling out/calling in. I especially love the infographic and the recommendation for Black-owned businesses to support. Maybe we can start a thread here going of other Black-owned businesses we can support as well. Great work, Madison, keep it up!

In my opinion, I think a good friend is always there for you. They genuinely care about you, they are willing to help you, and they go out of their way to do kind things for you. You should reciprocate these things back as well.

A good friend is dependable and someone that you can trust and easily get along with. They’re someone that makes you feel like you could be your true and genuine self without getting judged. A good and decent friend will put in the effort for you, understand you, and help you when you need it.

What makes a good friend is paying attention to them, sometimes some people can get off track during conversations and it can seem like you don't care for them. Being kind to one another is also a great quality for being a friend, making sure they feel safe around you and making sure that you are not invalidating their feelings.
